1. The Taco Dog

It combines the best of both worlds- tacos and hot dogs- and we thank the chefs who created this masterpiece, because now we don’t have to choose between the two best foods to have graced this green earth. A traditional hot dog bun takes on a whole new responsibility when filled with chorizo sausage, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, and fresh Pico de Gallo. This taco dog will leave you begging for tickets to the next game.

2. Monster Chicken Nachos

Rockies fans have claimed bragging rights to the monster nachos for many years now, and rightfully so. These nachos live up to their name, and are monstrous. A massive tray of tortilla chips gets a makeover and is loaded up with cheese and that is where the traditional take on nachos ends. Atop the cheese and chips sits chicken, veggies, salsa (two options: picante or Pico de Gallo). These will make you look at nachos in an entirely different light.

3. The Beach Comber

This isn’t your average hot dog, it’s an entirely different take on the traditional ballpark dog and loaded up with tropical tasty treats. Forgoing the traditional, bland toppings of ketchup and mustard and opting for a unique blend of pineapple, barbeque and jalapenos makes a burst of fresh, fruity, and robust flavors in your mouth. So genius, you’ll wonder how you didn’t think to make one of these yourself.

4. The Rockies Corned Beef Sandwich

Corned beef has to be served a certain way for it to be an unforgettable experience, and the vendors at Coors Field have mastered this science so well its almost scary. A traditional corned beef sandwich loaded up with creamy Swiss cheese, crispy onion tanglers, and some Dijon slaw for added zest. A masterpiece in the making, you gotta try this sandwich.

5. Lamb Koefte Burrito

Far from a normal ball park food, the lamb koefte burrito tops our list as one of the best foods you can grab at a Rockies game. Burritos have never been the same since lamb was wrapped up tight with tomato-cucumber salad, fried eggplant slices, hot sauce, and topped off with some delightful tahini. Few have been so excited to eat a sweet, adorable lamb as the Rockies fan who is about to take a bite out of a lamb koefte burrito.

Whether the Rockies win or lose, your mouth will feel like it hit a home run when you try out these intensely delicious foods located at Coors Field. You might not be able to fit all five foods in your stomach during the same game, but that will give you a few reasons to catch as many Rockies games as you can this season. Batter up!
