  • 4. “Triple B” Sandwich
  • 5. Fan vs. Food Challenge

1. Cuban Sandwich

This is, without a doubt, one of the number one fan favorites at Tropicana Field. The Cuban Sandwich comes loaded with ham, salami, Swiss cheese, pork, pickles, and mustard. It comes deliciously displayed between toasted Cuban bread for a grand slam finish. If your mouth is watering just reading this, you can find it at East/West Deli, Grand Slam Grill, and Diamond Classics.

2. Cheesesteak

There is a delicious cheesesteak sandwich calling your name at World Class Cheeseteaks. Choices is the name of their game, and you can pick between a cheddar cheese beef cheesesteak or an American cheese chicken cheesesteak. After that difficult decision, the toppings include mushrooms, peppers, and onions. These authentic sandwiches definitely do not disappoint.

3. Buffalo Chicken Sliders

These quick pick-me-ups can be found at Everglades Brewhouse in Centerfield Street. Potato buns hold chicken medallions with shredded lettuce, Red Hot sauce, and bleu cheese dressing for a spicy kick.

4. “Triple B” Sandwich

This is a creative new fan food favorite found at Burger Up. It’s a dream worthy sandwich with roast beef, fried bologna, grilled onions, white American cheese, apple jalapeno coleslaw, sliced tomato, and 1,000 island dressing. Served on a Kaiser roll, this is one food that will likely steal your heart while the Tampa Bay Rays steal first base.

5. Fan vs. Food Challenge

The Tampa Bay Rays aren’t the only ones competing at Tropicana Field, the Fan vs. Food Challenge lets fans have a chance to win two free game tickets and a t-shirt. The catch? You have to finish one pound of sliced brisket, one pound of BBQ chicken wings, macaroni and cheese, French fries, and four slices of Texas toast. This challenge is not for the faint of heart.

With so many choices we won’t blame you if you can’t decide what to eat next time you head down to watch the Tampa Bay Rays take a win at Tropicana Field. Hopefully this list will give you a good place to start, and with all the upcoming games this season it’s likely you will have a chance to try them all out. Hey, maybe you will even win the Fan vs. Food challenge and get in free to the next game. It will give you another opportunity to check off a few of these fan favorite foods at your next outing to watch the Tampa Bay Rays.
